“Kilmore Toyota is a car dealership based in Kilmore Victoria offering sales of new, used and demonstration vehicles, service, sale of parts and accessories, finance and insurance. In addition, business administration also occurs in this facility.
At Kilmore Toyota we have under floor heating and high ceilings. In winter, the heating needs to be at floor level for the comfort of our staff and customers, not concentrated in the ceiling space. Similarly in summer we required cooling throughout our showroom area.
We considered conventional ceiling fans after being advised we needed air circulation and destratification. However, after seeing the Airius Air Pears in use elsewhere and reading the reviews, we made some further enquiries and purchased 12 of the new Airius Model R20 ‘Eyeball’ units.
We found the Air Pear units to be quiet, efficient and we noticed they moved the air around the space effortlessly and are very good at balancing the temperature in our large space. That was important for us. They are also inconspicuous hanging with our high bay lighting which suits our new architectural facility beautifully.
I would recommend the use of Airius Air Pears in any facility especially where there is a need to contain heating and cooling costs and ensure your customers are comfortable. Have a look for yourself to see how they could make a difference to your business.”

“I am delighted to be able to recommend the installation of Airius Air Pear units into a preschool facility. We commissioned our new 80 child preschool in Clendon in December 2013 and had 4 units installed.
It has been a very hot summer but the Air Pear units have cooled the preschool down by circulating and cleaning the air - they are almost as good as an air conditioning unit! We are yet to enter the winter months but we expect that we will have less sickness due to the Air Pears killing bugs and also a more even heat as they circulate warm air around.
We are renovating an older preschool and will be installing the Air Pears in the centre too as it has a high ceiling where the heat rises to in the winter and we want the heat at the children's level.”

“Saint Stephen’s College is a co-educational, Preparatory to Year 12 independent school at the Gold Coast in Queensland. We have a large multipurpose sports centre housing 2 basketball courts. The floor area of the hall is around 1300 square metres and the roof is approximately 9 -10 metres high. This space is used for Physical Education, basketball games, exams and school assemblies.
On hot days, the auditorium air was still, lacked air flow throughout the space and created issues for all those participating in physical education classes and sporting activities in the building.
We considered using large fans to solve this problem. However, we decided to use Airius Air Pear Model 60 PS4 units for their perceived effectiveness, appearance and competitive pricing. 12 of the Air Pears were installed, equally spaced around the hall with two speed controllers.
The units were suspended off the roof structure and were easy and quick to install.
The Airius Air Pears fans have proved to be effective and do not dominate the space but fit easily into the hall; they are almost not noticeable whilst moving the air around the hall, creating air flow on hot, still days making the hall more comfortable to teach and learn in.”

“Initial results are pleasing with the retailer reviewing these in more detail and hoping to expand the trial to further stores. A spokesperson for the retailer said “the initial results are looking positive with promising results, particularly on warmer days.
In addition, “on cooler days we have found a 1.5-2 degree temperature increase” in the store which has helped to improve comfort and reduce heating costs. Current overall store energy savings are running in summer at around 30% and winter at around 8% plus a two degree temperature increase.”

“5 Air Pear Model 25 systems were used for cooling down the areas surrounding the MLC Swimming Pool.
Mark Winstanley said his feelings about the room before installation were not good, but after installing the Air Pear's he felt much better. He said his overall impression of the systems performances was 8/10!
Mark's feelings about the Air Pear changed significantly, from having no opinion to now thinking that the Air Pears are very good!”

“I thought I would email you to give you some feedback on the Airius Air Pear fans we installed in our Centenary Sports Hall in December 2014. We installed 8 x Model 60-PS4 Airius Air Pear fans to the ceiling of our Centenary Sports Hall. The hall has a problem with very little cross ventilation available due to it being built underground and has a synthetic basketball court as its roof so the sports hall heats up in the summer months.
The installation of the fans was straight forward and our contracted electrician took two days to fully install the air pear system with two controllers. The air pear system has been in operation for six months now. We are more than happy with the results. The space is a lot more usable in the hotter summer months. We have received great feedback from both the school PE department and also external hirers. High intensity sport is played in the gym now with a lot more comfort.
We have the ability to set the fans on five settings ranging from 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% capacity. It is rare we turn the fans to 100% even though they are 8.5 meters off the playing surface. To put it into context the gymnastic training group can only have the fans on a setting of 3 out of 5 (60%) because it affects the throwing of the ribbon in the air.
The fans are quiet and move the air around the hall with ease. We have found in the last month we can use the fans to circulate the warmer air at the ceiling height of the hall to the playing surface level to cut down on the need for winter heating. I have received our power consumption invoices for the gym and the fans have made very little to no difference to the running cost of the gym. We leave the fans on overnight to help cool the room for the next day.
We are extremely happy with the performance and comfort we receive since installing these air pear fans and would happily recommend them to other people needing to circulate air and increase thermal comfort. Thanks again for all your professional service and follow up received.”

“We initially installed one Model 15 Air Pear unit into the male changing room in our Albany swim school facility. We had a problem with high humidity causing condensation on the walls and floor in this space.
Within hours we noticed a difference and two days later the entire space was a lot drier, with less damp odour. We then installed two more units in the female changing rooms and one large Model 60 in the main pool area. Although we had previously spent vast amounts of money installing mechanical air handling units and ducting systems in this space, there were still areas around the pool where instructors and customers found it very humid. The Model 60 Air Pear not only alleviated this issue but helped dry out an end wall that was often wet with condensation.
We have since installed other units in more of our facilities and are currently monitoring energy savings brought about by thermal destratification in our Havelock North facility.
These things are simple to install and very economical to run, but above all they deliver results.”

“Just letting you know that we turned this on last Wednesday. While we haven’t had a chance to monitor what happens in the store in regard to the effect on temperatures when the place is in normal operation, (they opened on Thursday with queues about 500m long), my initial observations were that it was providing a noticeable airflow at ground level which is about 9.5m below the fan.
My brief tests with smoke indicated that the air being pushed back down was quite well ‘defined’ and was not spreading out, which was good to see.
Thanks for your help with this.”

“Installing the Destratification Fans was a first for us and addressed a need to improve the working environment of the pool-side staff.
The fans were straightforward to install through our M&E contractor A McKay & Co.
Now that the system is running in co-ordination with the air handling plant this has been achieved successfully.”

“I spoke to the operators last week & they have said the general air conditions around the pool have improved & the condensation has improved greatly, especially around the front office & counter areas.”

“The domestic unit is fantastic!
It is absolutely perfect for the application, and although I know it is for a more specific de-stratification application than a normal blade fan, I really think the product should be given a lot more publicity.
It produces a column of downward air that doesn't disturb nearby pendants; is super compact, very unobtrusive and looks better than a normal blade fan; removes any chance of "strobing" where a downlight can be seen through fan blades when they rotate; and is great for tall ceiling heights. This one is handling 7m no worries.”

“We are the appointed contractors for Green Point Christian College, located in Gosford, NSW, who had an overheating problem with their school multipurpose centre, main hall stage and mezzanine gym area. The school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Peter Gay, the Facility Manager from the school, contacted us to address cooling and air flow problems in early 2017. He had heard about the Air Pears through an Independent Schools Facility Manager’s group, which he participates in. Peter advised that the spaces in the School were “very hot, with no air flowing over people while playing sport or during college functions”.
After installing the Airius Air Pears into the different zones using a range of model sizes, from Model 25’s up to Model 60’s for the larger spaces, the result has been impressive. Peter said the Air Pears “certainly have made a big difference and improved comfort during the various functions we have at the centre”. He indicated that one of the great benefits of the Air Pears is that “since installation there have been no complaints about the overheating and there is much appreciation of having the areas cooler”.
The key to selecting Airius units over other possible solutions were because they were “less intrusive than other products available” and “were able to provide cooling to the whole centre for the same costs as alternative options that only partially covered the areas that required cooling”. The lower pricing of Airius was a key criterion in selecting the Airius units.
Since the Airius units have been installed, Peter has received comments from building users, particularly “how good it is having air flow and keeping the centre cooler”. When asked to describe what he might say if recommending the Air Pear system, Peter said “how effective and non-intrusive the Air Pears were, as well as being cost effective. The installation process was also straight forward and our own electrical contractors, who are familiar with the site, were able to install the units with ease.”
